The Sheridan American Association of University Women is proud to host Uprising’s Alexandra Stevenson as she shares an account of her personal experience with domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking. Alexandra is passionate about sharing her story as a means to bring awareness to these very present issues in our communities. She will also share some about the work Uprising is doing in Sheridan County and across Wyoming.
This event is FREE and open to the public, though it is recommended for those 16 years and up due to the content. There will be an open time for questions following the presentation and the AAUW will continue with their closed meeting following that.
This event will be held at Sheridan College in the Thorne Rider Campus Center, Room TRCC008 and starts promptly at 9:30am. Refreshments will be on hand, and donations to Uprising are welcome.
