In this exclusive training session, Jessica will delve into the profound intersections of tattoos, branding, and iconography within the context of mental health stigma. Drawing on her own experience, Jessica will shed light on the stigma surrounding self-harm, trafficking and exploitation, as well as gang/hate tattoos.

Topics covered will include the history of tattooing and branding, key indicators of exploitation to be mindful of, and empowering survivors through tattoo removal and cover-up. She will also delve into how to request training if you want to provide those services locally.

This presentation is a must-attend for a diverse range of professionals, including law enforcement, first responders, victim advocates, service providers, healthcare workers, tattoo artists, salon/nail professionals, and individuals working in the mental health field.
