Up^Grade: Middle School Social Orientation

Up^Grade: Middle School Social Orientation

UP^Grade is a FREE full-day workshop and social orientation for students who will be in middle school in the 2024-25 school year.

Participants will have the opportunity to take part in games, activities, and discussions centered around important topics such as consent, boundaries, healthy relationships, teen dating violence, online safety, and exploitation led by local experts from, Advocacy & Resource Center, CHAPS Equine Assisted Services, SAGE Community Arts, Sheridan County Public Health, Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office, and Uprising.

We believe that middle school is a time when youth often learn about risky topics from their peers, and we want to create safe spaces to give helpful information about those topics in an effort to prevent and reduce risky behaviors.

Registration is required either in advance (preferred) or at drop off, and lunch & snacks are included. Follow this link or scan the QR code on the flyer to register. Parents/guardians are welcome to stay and observe. Activities will take place in the Sheridan Junior High School Early Building (uphill from the main building) and outside on the football field and track.
