This awareness presentation will cover the basics of human trafficking and what kinds of cases we are seeing locally. It will feature key case studies to help attendees understand the complexities and broadness of this growing crime. It will include basic tips for identification and response to human trafficking and exploitation in your community.

>>Session 2: Victimology of Human Trafficking
This presentation is geared towards individuals who may work with or encounter a potential trafficking victim through their work/life. This session will delve into the psychological manipulation and tactics used to groom and keep victims. We will cover how to screen/identify victims, and what services they may need during aftercare. You will hear firsthand from a survivor about their lived experience in this session.

>>Session 3: Keeping Kids Safe Online & IRL
This presentation is for anyone who has kids or works with youth in any capacity. We will talk about the exploitation and issues kids are facing today in Wyoming, and what you can do to help lower youth’s risk. Attendees will walk away with tangible conversation starters and ideas that they can immediately start implementing into their daily interactions with youth. We will also cover the youth programming that Uprising can provide across your own community.
