January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month, and in observance the Compass Center for Families will present UPRISING’s Human Trafficking and Exploitation Caregiver class this Thursday in Buffalo.

The training is designed to give adults the knowledge and tools for prevention, how to know the signs of, and how to talk to youth about human trafficking and exploitation.

Terri Markham, Co-Founder and Co-Director of UPRISING, said the class is for those wanting to help protect others from exploitation.
